Tutorial 1 - Categories Game Maker Overview  
  This tutorial gives an overview of the Categories Game Maker Software and how teachers can create fun review or assessment games to play in their classrooms. Shows how to play a game, step by step how to create a game, and the Categories utilities: The File Finder, The Multiple Choice Question Maker, The Free Form Question Maker, and The Screen Capture.
       


Tutorial 2 - Checking Out The Sample Game    
  This tutorial shows how to load and play the sample game file that comes with the Categories Game Maker. Several of the types of questions that can be created are previewed. Many of the questions were created using the Categories utilities.
       
  Tutorial 3 - Getting Started Creating a New Game
  This tutorial illustrates how to set up and start making a game using the Categories Game Maker. One crucial step is to create a game folder to store your saved game and all of the multimedia elements (graphics, animation, movie, and sound files) for making your questions.
       
  Tutorial 4 - The File Finder and Collecting Multimedia Elements
  This tutorial explains how to collect multimedia elements (graphics, animations, movies, and sounds) for making your questions and using the included File Finder utility to view, choose, and copy them to your game folder.
       
  Tutorial 5 - The Multiple Choice Question Maker
  This tutorial describes how to create graphic questions using the included Multiple Choice Question Maker. Questions can be made using text or graphics for your question and from text or graphics for your answers.
       
  Tutorial 6 - The Free Form Question Maker
  This tutorial desribes how to create graphic questions using the Free Form Question Maker. Questons can be made by using a simples set of drawing tools and adding text and graphics.
   
  Tutorial 7 - The Screen Capture Utility
  This tutorial describes how to use the screen capture utility to capture images from the computer screen to use in your Categories questions. As one example, you can capture equations created using your word processor.
   
  Tutorial 8 - Creating a Game Question by Question
  This tutorial shows how to create Categories game questions by using the questions by question editor. Easily add graphics, animations, movies, or sound and see immediately what your questions will look like.
