Physics Software

Click & Teach Series

The PHYSICS Click & Teach Series is designed to be used with a PC computer and projector and all materials can be accessed from a set of simple menus. Simply click & teach. You can find out more information or order the software by clicking on the More Info buttons on the right.

Math Review & Graphical Analysis is a set of materials designed to assist in the teaching of the physics of: the definition of science, the scientific method, scientific notation, slope, units, variables, conversions, graphing, measurements, error, running experiments, and both linear and nonlinear graphical analysis. And all of these materials can be accessed from a single software menu. With the use of a computer and projector, the materials are a snap to use with your classes.
Everything is included for you to teach the unit on Math Review & Graphical Analysis with your classes for approximately two to three weeks. All of the handouts and answer keys are provided in both 2003 Microsoft Word format (*.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader format (*.pdf).

Motion Graphs is an extensive set of materials designed to assist in teaching the physics of constant velocity and constant acceleration graphs. And all of these materials can be accessed from a single software menu. With the use of a computer and projector, the materials are a snap to use with your classes.
Everything is included for you to teach the unit on Motion Graphs with your classes for approximately two to three weeks. All of the handouts and answer keys are provided in both 2003 Microsoft Word format (*.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader format (*.pdf).

Motion Equations is an extensive set of materials designed to assist in teaching the physics of solving motion problems. And all of these materials can be accessed from a single software menu. With the use of a computer and projector, the materials are a snap to use with your classes.
Following is a summary of the curriculum covered:
* The derivation of the motion equations from motion graphs
* The solution of motion problems using a problem solving cookbook
* The acceleration of gravity and terminal velocity
* The solution of acceleration of gravity problems
Everything is included for you to teach the unit on Motion Equations with your classes for approximately two to three weeks. All of the handouts and answer keys are provided in both 2003 Microsoft Word format (*.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader format (*.pdf).

Newton's Three Laws is an extensive set of materials designed to assist in the teaching of the physics of dynamics, including forces and Newton's three laws. These materials include student handouts, objectives, simulation software, PowerPoint presentations, experiments, tests, and associated answer keys in Word and PDF formats. To start, you open the main menu, shown below, where you can access all of these materials. That’s why it’s called Click & Teach.
Everything is included for you to teach the unit on Newton’s Three Laws with your classes for approximately two to three weeks. All of the handouts and answer keys are provided in both 2003 Microsoft Word format (*.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader format (*.pdf).

Mechanics
Games & Demos

A
set of multimedia modules that include challenges, games, and demonstratioins
in the areas of motion, forces, vectors, 2D motion, momentum, and
work & energy.
These modules are sold individually and are included in some other bundled materials. For some examples, click on the More Info button.

Mechanics Labs

A
set of ten simulated computer labs that students can run on any PC.
Lab writeups and answer keys are provided in both Word and
PDF formats. The main menu is shown above. The labs are:
 Motion Timer Lab
 Terminal Velocity Lab
 Newton's 2nd Law Lab
 Hooke's Law Lab
 Resolving The Problem Lab
 Pendulum Lab
 Circular Motion Lab
 Colliding Pucks Lab
 2D Collisions Momentum Lab
 Spring Energy Lab
These labs are sold in a bundle.

Vector
MONSTER Lab

A
set of seven computer based simulated labs that requires students
to use their knowledge of vectors and other physics concepts. Students
must measure variables and solve vector problems. The graded lab results
can then be printed out. The opening menu where students sign in is shown above.

Kinematics
Beating The Yellow Light
Beating The Yellow Light

Beating
The Yellow light uses tutorials, interactive and graphical exercises,
and simulations to investigate the design of intersections and the
role of the length of the yellow light. This seemingly simple problem
is affected by many variables, from the velocity of the car to the
reaction time of the driver. Its solution, it turns out, is anything
but simple.
